It's hard to find a family who's life hasn't been touched by cancer. There are many in our extended family, but in our immediate family it was Mom's mother, the grandmother we never met, who loved cats as much as Mom does. She fought lung cancer for many years, but when it went into her brain it was too much for her. She went to the human bridge 18 years ago at age 67.
Cancer also touched us in Puff, the first cat Mom and Dad had after they were married. She had tumors in her throat and by the time a second vet (who's still our vet) made the correct diagnosis, there was no help for Puff. She was helped to The Rainbow Bridge at just 6 years old.
We share the grief of all those who have lost loved ones to this terrible disease and pray that as scientists continue their work, a cure will be found.

we just had a very tragic death in our family from cancer - the mom's 46 year old cousin passed away last week after suffering almost 3 years from cervical, liver, bone and kidney cancer. very very sad.
we are sorry for all of your losses - it's just so sad.
We have lost our grandfather and our great grandmother to cancer and one of our great aunts. We lost our best beloved vet tech at the age of 38 as well. We will be honoring them for LiveStrong.
Cancer has touch us all. We look forward to the day when there is no cancer.
Us kitties and TBT an his fambly and friends have been fortunate not to be touched by cancers. That is rare. But we know of others who have. Ours best purrs of comfort go out to all who have been harmed by this terrible problem..
