The Big "M"

No doubt you've noticed we don't post as much as we used to and I blame it all on my secretary, aka Mom. We used to post several times a week but when Mom started taking care of our Girl and our Boy, it was always "Sorry George, I don't have time". That was OK, 'cause at least we still got to talk to you once in a while.
Now Mom says she has to start getting ready for the big "M"...you know, our move to where it's warm all the time. I've lived in this house my whole life of 14 1/2 years, but Mom says they've lived here twice that long. That means there's a lot of stuff, junk and things to sort out and put in boxes. That's something called "packing". As long as she doesn't pack the big bed, our cat perch, food or toys, I don't much care about anything else.
But, Mom being busy with packing means we won't be able to post hardly at all. We'll try to get around and visit as often as we can and will let you all know before the big "M" happens.

OH, NO! The dreaded M word! Where are you off to? WE hope all goes well with the packing and travel!
I feel for you dood, having just done the M word TWICE cause like I had to live in an apartment while we waited for our house. I hope like your folks find a nice place FIRST and then move. That's way so much better.
The "M" is not really all that bad. Me has done it 9 times in my 13 years. There is lots of boxes to play in, lots of cupbards gets left opened and yous can explore it is like a Kitty amusement park in the house!

Most of us have NEVER had to move, The Baby flew once and Kona travelled in a car--we don't recommend either.
Keep us posted once and a while on your M progress!
It sounds like you guys are about to embark on quite an adventure! I've only moved once, and it was only three blocks away.

Hey - good luck! Moving might be fun once yoo've gotten over being skerred! We have never moved but Scott says that our late Uncle Orlando and Auntie Doris moved many times and they were always OK!

Ugh. The M-word. It sucks when you're going through it, but once it's over you have lots of new things to explore. That *almost* makes up for the giant PITA that the M-word is...
Moving sounds scary, but we hope it is good for you after.

Mommy said packing sucks, and it's really difficult to decide what to keep, throw out or give away. From what mommy tells me, i want you to avoid boxes that say "donate" or "garbage" on them. :(
