An Update

Hi everybody. I thought you might be wondering what's been going on around here recently so I'll tell you.
Mom's bad back has been very bad and she takes lots of pills to make it not hurt. She says her back has been extra bad 'cause she's been busy tearing wallpaper and packing boxes plus cleaning up all the messes our Boy makes. When she sits down to rest, I get on her lap and make biscuits to help her feel better. All this work has helped Mom lose weight and she says she's 25 lb. from her goal of getting back into a size 10. I don't know what a size 10 is, but Mom is happy about it so it must be something good.
Um, let's see, what else? Oh yeah, Tipper did a big throw up in Mom's shoe and Mom didn't find out 'til she was ready to pick up our Girl from preschool. She said lots of words on the bad word list 'cause she had to find another pair of shoes in a hurry.
Talk about bad words, Dad said lots and lots of them a few days ago when Mom's car wouldn't start and he had to make it go again. We all watched from the front window. Then this morning we watched again when a big truck took Dad's car away when it wouldn't start. Dad is not happy.
George had a bad cold and got shot with medicine, but he's feeling better now. He was getting skinny so now he has a can of stinky goodness every day. We all help him eat it.
Max is still being naughty and peeing out of the litterbox. Mom had to take off the couch cushion covers and wash them, then she sprayed some nice smelling stuff all around.
Of course, I have been very good and today I snoopervised Mom tear off wallpaper upstairs. I don't usually go up there 'cause that's where Tiger, Cricket and Gino live and I don't like them, but it was important that I help Mom. I still hiss at Tiger 'cause she always wants to sit by Mom and she's MY Mom, not Tiger's. Mom says I should be nice to her 'cause she doesn't have Mom, just a Dad, but she smells weird.

Purrs to your Mum. We know what a lot of work moving is and we can only imagine what a lot more work it is when you have lived in a house longer than 6 years!
Wow! Yous guys been very busy! And what a lot of excitement. Our Mommy hurt her back too whilst we was at the little house. Me likes that cuz she lets me sit on her.

wow, you've had lots going on! I'm sorry that your beans have had a run of bad luck with cars. That stinks and makes them lots of naughty words!
I'm proud of your mommy for working so hard to get to a 10! that is hard to do. We kitties know that hard work and eating right is no fun at all.
Sorry you and Tiger aren't getting along. I still get jealous of my stinky boy but I'm getting used to it...after 30 months :)
oh no!!!! Tipper! Are you okay?! Remember to drink lots and lots of fluids. Sounds like there's a lot going on at home.... You take care of yourself. kiss kiss.

We hope your mum's back is soon better. You are being very helpful trying to make her better with your biscuits. Well done to her for losing weight.

Thanks for the update, Misty! We're sorry your mom's back is hurting, but it's great that she has lost some weight! And we couldn't help but laugh about Tipper yakking in your mom's shoe, though we know that wasn't good for your mom. How come us cats manage to yak in the strangest places??? We're good!!
Your mum is way too busy. She needs to sit down and ignore the house work like our mum does. Well....maybe not ignore, but doing only what she really needs to do some days.

Holy cats, Misty! You guys have been busy! We're glad George is feeling better. We know we shouldn't laff, but it's kinda funny how Tipper got your Mom's shoe at just the right time. Max, Max, Max. The peeing? Dood, all that does it earn a kitty a trip to the v-e-t. :( Misty, great job snoopervising your Mom. Those Moms really need it sometimes. We hope that your Mom's back feels lots better soon.

MISTY! My beyootiful, sweet, lovely Misty...I've missed yoo! Wif mom working so many stoopid hours and den haffing to take care of dad (mom sez he's just a lazy butt) she don't haf time to help us comment and stuff. I think maybe we bof need a break from da household grind. Would yoo like to come over here or should I come over der? Or maybe we should meet up at a nice restaurant fur a little feast? I can get mom's plastic money card...
