Happy Purrthday Tipper & Max

TIPPER

Today's our purrthday.

MAX

Yeah, I know.  I'm 8 and I'm OLD!

TIPPER

You!  What about me?!  I'm in the double digits now...I'm 10!!!

MAX

Is Mom having a party for us?

TIPPER

Um...(looks around)...I don't see anything different here in the bedroom.  Look in the bathroom to see if she hid any stuff in there.  And don't forget to look under the sink.

MAX

No, there's nothing in here that I haven't seen before. 

TIPPER

So, that means no cake, no ice cream and, most important...no presents?

MAX

I guess not.  Oh no.  Tipper, Mom FORGOT about our purrthdays!

TIPPER

Well, you know what, we're going to invite our friends over anyway.  We have our 4-shelf cat perch by the window and the big bed and the clean laundry piles and we have plenty of toys.  Kittens can play in the bathtub so they stay out of  trouble and I can  put my paw on the radio button to make music.  And we can turn on the television by stepping on the remote thing.

MAX

What about food and treats?  Don't forget...we need plenty of treats!

TIPPER

Are you kidding?  There's a huge bag of food in the closet and I saw Mom put 10 cans of food in there, too.  And there are 2 big bags of treats in the nightstand drawer. And, you know what else I saw in there...'NIP!   Don't worry, we have everything we need.

MAX

TIPPER

Of course it's OK.  Come on everyone!  Come over and help Max and me celebrate our purrthdays!!
