Revisiting My Water Art

GEORGE

Hi everycat. The rest of us didn't get a chance to talk while Mom was busy taking care of Misty, but it's good to be back now.

You all know Misty's been living in the bathroom and of course I, as Senior Cat, checked on her every day. Mom had food & a water along with a bed and a litterbox in there for her so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for me to try a little water & towel art.

You all know my creativity has been stifled ever since Mom started putting a big towel under our main water bottle bowl to keep me from dragging it across the kitchen, but see this small bowl she has in the bathroom for Misty? It's perfect for my water art! Naturally I got busy right away making my design, which I thought was very nice.

Mom doesn't appreciate my art at all and I got hollered at for getting the floor wet. What's the problem, Mom? The bathroom floor gets wet a lot, so what's the difference? At least my piece was creative, unlike the wet footprints Dad leaves around.

It seems you and Isis have much in common - she tries to drag our big water fountain around the kitchen floor! The only thing that stops her taking it too far is the electric cable! ;)

It is surprising that so many peoples who love cats seem to have an aversion to art. It must be a right brain-left brain kind of thing.

Nice water art!! PS I know we were gone for a bit, but are aunty told us about Misty and we were purring for her!! My son went though the same surgery when he was 4 months old, silly kitten swallowed a pom pom with a string and a piece of plastic attached. He's intestines got necrosis, ad they had to remove several inches. It was very scary for us all! We are sooo glad Misty is better!

Sheesh, our mom don't preeshiate our arts either George. A little creativity is always good. We still haf cream puffs left, mom is leaving to go to wif dad to da craft place...dat means dey will be gone fur awhile. C'mon over and we'll all haf some of dem puffs. Speedy sez if she doesn't feel up to it he will bring one over fur Misty, he doesn't want her to strain herself and get sick again.

I think you are very brave to make water art. I do not much like to deal with water unless it is with my tongue.

Hey! Don't forget to come to my 1st birthday party today!

I think your mom just needs more exposure to your art in order to fully appreciate it. That means create much more art. I'm sure she'll learn to love it.

We toss our water bowl over at a regular basis. It just gets in our way when we play chase. Maybe that's art aswell? Humans have a strange taste...

Your Water Art is exquisite George and we think your Mom should be grateful she is getting it as an original gift (it could be worth millions in a few years)
