Sharing the Melon

TIPPER

You all know how much I like fruit, which some cats might think is a little weird, but I don't care. I'm OK with that.

When Mom fixes breakfast I always check to see what kind of fruit she's having.

Let's see, what's for today? Mmmm...melon. I love cantelope and I only get it in the summer time.

Hey!! What do you think you're doing? This is MY bowl of melon!

MAX

Mom said I could have some.

Here. (flips a piece of melon out of the bowl) Here's a piece for you.

TIPPER

What!? I started out with the whole bowl and now I'm down to one measly piece!

Mom...Max is stealing my melon!!

MOM

Don't you mean OUR melon?

TIPPER

Whatever.

Your mum should know that everything in the house belongs to the kitties. The people are just allowed to use our stuff. Including food.

We hope you got to have more than one piece, Tipper! Next time, whacky-paw Max on the head when he tries to horn in on your melon.

My you two have interesting taste buds. Great pictures! And Max you should wait your turn until Tipper is done...that's more polite.

Our mom always lets us smell fruits she is getting for herself but we seldom want to do more than sniff...except for grapes...I like to play with them and bat them around (with supervision of course)
