AP Exclusive

AP Whisk-onsin - Until now, these previously unseen still photos of the famous Mancat wrestler, Maxwell Smartkitty, had not been released to his legions of adoring fans. We are privileged to be able to show them to you here.

The play behavior, so rarely observed of late in this gentle, unassuming giant, was captured on film after his mother who, upon opening the toybox, removed the track & ball and placed it on the floor.

The well-known former cat-olympic gold medal winner, CWF title holder and cat blogosphere contributor can usually be found resting on a colorful hand-made gizzy quilt atop the spacious, privately owned, penthouse shelf of his cat perch. His mother, who was startled to see him bound to the floor after spying the track, reports that he wasted no time in attacking the revolving pink ball, batting at it furiously again and again, honing his already superb agility and eye/paw coordination skills.

The performance continued until his concentration was interrupted by his young sister and former opponent, Misty Everpurr, who came over to see what he was doing.

May we say 'Well done, Smartkitty...well done!!'

Good job, dood! Now that she expects you to pay, you can go back to your gizzy and relax. It's always good to keep the people off guard ;)

Mama's been going to get us one of those track ball toys. We had the other kind (the one that's open on top) and EG kept stealing the ball and carrying it off in his mouth. Mama was afraid he'd choke or get it stuck when she wasn't home, so she tooked it away. :(

Love,
Tazo
